Last updated 26 June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Builte Limited ("Builte", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the website at builte.global (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. By using the Site you consent to the use of cookies described as requiring consent below; strictly necessary cookies are used without consent on the basis that they are essential to provide the Site.
1. What cookies are
1.1 Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites that you visit. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixel tags, and software development kits. In this Policy, references to "cookies" include those similar technologies.
1.2 Cookies may be set by Builte (first-party cookies) or by a third party whose service is loaded on the Site (third-party cookies). They may last only for the duration of your browsing session (session cookies) or for a longer defined period (persistent cookies).
2. Categories of cookies we use
2.1 Strictly necessary
Required to deliver the Site, to route requests, to balance load, to remember your privacy preferences, and to maintain security. These cookies are set without consent on the basis that they are essential. If you block them, parts of the Site will not function correctly.
2.2 Functional
Used to remember choices you make, for example the form fields you have already completed within a session. These are set only with your consent where required.
2.3 Performance and analytics
Used, where deployed, to understand how visitors interact with the Site in aggregate so we can improve it. Analytics cookies are set only with your consent. We use providers that support a privacy-preserving configuration.
2.4 Advertising
We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not participate in cross-context behavioural advertising.
3. Cookies in use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| builte_session | Builte (first party) | Maintains your session and security state. | Strictly necessary | Session |
| builte_consent | Builte (first party) | Records your cookie consent choices so you are not asked on every visit. | Strictly necessary | 12 months |

3.1 The list above reflects the cookies in use as at the "Last updated" date. We will revise it when our use of cookies changes.
4. Your consent
4.1 Where consent is required for a cookie, we request it before that cookie is set. You may change or withdraw your consent at any time by clearing your cookies in your browser and revisiting the Site, or by adjusting your preferences within the Site where a control is available.
4.2 Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
5. Browser controls
5.1 Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Information about how to do this for common browsers is available at the browser publisher's support pages. Blocking cookies may affect the functioning of the Site.
5.2 Most browsers also support a "Do Not Track" signal and the Global Privacy Control. We honour the Global Privacy Control as an opt-out preference signal where required by law. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, this signal has no further effect in respect of advertising.
6. International transfers
6.1 Where a cookie or analytics provider processes personal data outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, we rely on the transfer mechanisms described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Changes to this Policy
7.1 We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the date of the most recent revision.
